Research Progress on the Regulation of PI3K/Akt Signaling Pathway by Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Slow Transit Constipation
Based on the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/Akt)signaling pathway, this study summarized the research on the treatment of slow transit constipation with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in order to provide more references for the treatment of slow transit constipation with TCM.Through sorting and analysis,it was found that TCM compound,TCM prescription,TCM extract and electroacupuncture therapy can improve colonic transmission power and secretion by regulating PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, and play a role in defecation. The main mechanism involved anti-oxidative stress, regulation of intestinal neurotransmitters, regulation of cell autophagy, regulation of intestinal aquaporin expression, repair of damaged intestinal neurons, and other pathways, with with advantages of multi-component,multi-target,and multi-level.In the future, further research was needed to clarify the effective ingredients of TCM and its specific therapeutic targets and mechanisms,so as to improve the clinical efficacy of TCM in the treatment of slow transit constipation.
