Effect of Acupoint Application Combined with Menu Health Education on Rehabilitation of Schizophrenic Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of acupoint application combined with menu health education on the rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia.Methods:A total of 80 schizophrenic patients from January 2023 to October 2023 were selected and divided into control group,acupoint application group,menu health education group and combination group(acupoint application combined with menu health education group)according to random number table method,with 20 cases in each group.The scores of self-awareness and treatment attitude questionnaire(ITAQ),positive and negative symptom scale(PANSS),brief schizophrenia Cognitive Assessment Test(BACS)and Chinese version of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were compared before and after the intervention.Results:After 4 weeks of intervention,the ITAQ and BACS scores of the 4 groups of patients were higher than before treatment(P＜0.05).The ITAQ and BACS scores of the combination group were higher than those of the other 3 groups(P＜0.05).The ITAQ and BACS scores of the acupoint application group and menu health education group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks of intervention,the PANSS and BACS scores of the 4 groups of patients were lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),while the PANSS and PSQI scores of the combination group were lower than those of the other 3 groups(P＜0.05).The PANSS and PSQI scores of the acupoint application group and menu health education group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint application combined with menu health education can effectively improve the self-knowledge and cognitive level of schizophrenia patients,improve their mental symptoms and sleep quality,and have clinical popularization value.
