Analysis of ZHU Zhenhua's Medication Rules in the Treatment of Chronic Rhinosinusitis Based on Data Mining
Objective:To study the medication rules of ZHU Zhenhua in the treatment of chronic rhinosi-nusitis using data mining techniques.Methods:The traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for chronic rhinosinusitis treated in the outpatient department of ZHU Zhenhua in the department of otorhinolaryngology at the First Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to April 2023 were collected,and Excel was used to establish a database.IBM SPSS statistics 25.0 and IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0 software were used for frequency statistics,association rule analysis and cluster analysis.Results:A total of 176 prescriptions were included,including 59 kinds of drugs,with a cumulative drug frequency of 2 267.The top 5 drugs with the highest frequency of use were Gancao(Glycyrrhizae Radix),Shichangpu(Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma),Jiegeng(Platycodonis Radix),Dangshen(Codonopsis Radix),and Zaojiaoci(Gleditsiae Spina).The medicinal properties were mainly mild and warm,and the flavors of medicines were mainly sweet and pungent,and the meridian tropism was mainly lung and spleen meridians.A total of 36 drug combinations were obtained by association rule analysis,and the representatives of 2,3,4 and 5 drug associations were Shichangpu(Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma)-Gancao(Glycyrrhizae Radix),Jiegeng(Platycodonis Radix)-Shichangpu(Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma)-Gancao(Glycyrrhizae Radix),Dangshen(Codonopsis Radix)-Jiegeng(Platycodonis Radix)-Shichangpu(Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma)-Gancao(Glycyrrhizae Radix),and Fuling(Poria)-Baizhu(Atracty-lodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma)-Jiegeng(Platycodonis Radix)-Gancao(Glycyrrhizae Radix)-Dangshen(Codonopsis Radix).Cluster analysis obtained 7 categories,including 3 prescription combinations and 4 core Chinese medicines.Conclusions:Based on the theory of"strengthen metal by way of reinforcing earth",ZHU Zhenhua treated chronic rhinosinusitis from the lung and spleen,emphasizing tonifying spleen to benefit lung Qi,and warming Yang and clearing orifices.
