Objective:To investigate the situation of population aging and the layout of medical and nursing institutions in Zhuzhou,provide reference opinions for the layout of medical and nursing institutions in Zhuzhou,promote the optimization of elderly medical resource layout in Zhuzhou City,meet the medical service needs of the elderly,and actively respond to population aging.Methods:Through policy research,literature research,interview,and comprehensive analysis,the data of population aging and the layout of medical and nursing institutions in Zhuzhou City were collected and organized,the existing problems and causes were analyzed,and strategies were proposed.Results:3 counties(districts)in Zhuzhou City have entered a period of moderate aging,while 6 counties(districts)have entered a period of deep aging.The distribution of medical and nursing institutions in Zhuzhou City was uneven in each county(district),with more urban areas than counties.The distribution of medical and nursing institutions did not match the degree of population aging.The distribution of elderly population in different regions did not match the number of people receiving guidance on integrated medical and nursing services and the number of people receiving health management services.Conclusion:Zhuzhou has a high degree of population aging,and the distribution of medical and nursing institutions does not match the degree of aging.It is suggested that the allocation of medical resources should be gradually adjusted according to the situation of population aging.Expand the scale of medical and nursing institutions,and improve the service rate of medical and nursing institutions for the elderly.Promote the cooperation of different county(district)institutions,and build a medical and nursing combination alliance.Strengthen the integration of medical care and traditional Chinese medicine.
