Study on 40 Cases of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy Treated by Long's Chiropractic Therapy combined with Bloodletting Therapy
Objective:To observe the effect of Long's chiropractic therapy combined with bloodletting therapy on the symptoms of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods:A total of 164 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were randomly divided into control group,Long's group, bloodletting group and Long's combined bloodletting group,41 cases in each group. The control group was given routine drug treatment, and the Long's group was treated with Long's chiropractic therapy on the basis of the control group. The bloodletting group was treated with bloodletting therapy on the basis of the control group, and the Long's combined bloodletting group was treated with bloodletting therapy and Long's chiropractic therapy on the basis of the control group. One week is a course of treatment, with a total of 2 courses of treatment. Before treatment, after one course of treatment and after two courses of treatment, the scores of VAS pain scale, visual simulation numbness scale,Tanaka Jingjiu cervical spondylosis symptom scale and cervical dysfunction index were compared respectively. At the same time, the curative effect was evaluated after two courses of treatment. Results:A total of 2 cases were excluded from the bloodletting group,1 case was excluded from the Long's combined bloodletting group, and 161 cases in 4 groups completed the study. After 2 courses of treatment, the scores of VAS pain scale, visual simulated numbness,Tanaka Jingjiu cervical spondylosis symptom scale and cervical vertebra dysfunction index in the control group,Long's group, bloodletting group and Long's combined bloodletting group were all higher than those before treatment(P<0.01),and compare with the control group, there were statistically significant differences in the scores of VAS pain scale, visual simulated numbness,Tanaka Jingjiu cervical spondylosis symptom scale and cervical vertebra dysfunction index in Long's group, bloodletting group and Long's combined bloodletting group after 2 courses of treatment(P<0.05).After two courses of treatment, the total effective rates of Long's combined bloodletting group, control group,Long's group, and bloodletting group were 87.5%(35/40),43.9%(18/41),68.3%(28/41),and 69.2%(27/39),respectively.The total apparent efficiency of Long's combined bloodletting group was higher than that of the control group,Long's group, and bloodletting group(P<0.05).The total effective rates of the Long's group and the bloodletting group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the Long's group and the bloodletting group(P>0.05).There was no interaction between Long's chiropractic therapy and bloodletting therapy(P>0.05).The time and grouping factors of VAS pain score, visual simulated numbness score, and cervical spine dysfunction index all have interactive effects(P<0.01),and the downward trend of the four groups was inconsistent, with the Long's combined bloodletting group showing the largest decrease. There was an interactive effect between the time factor and grouping factor in the Tanaka Jingjiu cervical spondylosis symptom scale score(P<0.01),with inconsistent growth rates among the four groups, with the Long's combined bloodletting group having the largest growth rate. Conclusion:Long's chiropractic therapy combined with bloodletting therapy can effectively relieve the symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and make patients return to normal life more quickly.
