Analysis on ZHOU Ling's Medication Rule and Mechanism of Core Prescription in the Treatment of Chronic Rhinosinusitis
Objective:To summarize and analyze the medication rule of ZHOU Ling's treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS)based on data mining,and to explore the mechanism of core prescription in the treatment of CRS by network pharmacology.Methods:The effective traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions of ZHOU Ling in treating CRS were collected and sorted out.Microsoft Office Excel 2019 was used to establish a database and analyze the frequency.IBM SPSS Modeler 18 and IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software were used to conduct association rule analysis,cluster analysis and factor analysis of the high-frequency drugs in the prescription,and concluded the formula formation rule of ZHOU ling's treatment of CRS.Through the method of network pharmacology,the effective components,target and signal pathway of core prescription for CRS were explored.Result A total of 213 prescriptions were included,involving 107 traditional Chinese medicines and 27 commonly used drugs with a frequency greater than 50.The core formula was composed of BAizhi(Angelicae Dahuricae Radix),Cangerzi(Xanthii Fructus),Xinyi(Magnoliae Flos),Huangqin(Scutellariae Radix),Zhebeimu(Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus),Pugongying(Taraxaci Herba),Lianqiao(Forsythiae Fructus),Baijiangcao(Patriniae Herba),Jiegeng(Platycodonis Radix),and Yuxingcao(Houttuyniae Herba).101 drug disease common targets were identified,corresponding to 92 active compounds.These targets have significant impacts on 286 biological processes and 131 signaling pathways.Molecular docking results showed strong binding activity between key compounds and core targets.Conclusion:ZHOU Ling's treatment of CRS focuses on clearing and relieving lung heat,purulent drainage and opening of the orifices,removing blood stasis and removing turbidity,while also taking into account supplementing Qi and tonifying deficiency.The core formula may be act on tumor necrosis factor(TNF),interleukin-6(IL-6),IL-1β and other core targets through key components such as luteolin,β-sitosterol and kaempferol.It also affect AGE-RAGE and other signal pathways in regulating lipid and atherosclerosis,diabetes complications,so as to play a role in treating CRS.
