Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Advantageous Disease Clinical Decision Support System in Quality Control of Traditional Chinese Medicine Medical Records for"Mixed Hemorrhoids"
Objective:To improve the accuracy of Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and classification,enhance the consistency of rationale,method and prescription in Chinese medicine medical records,improve the quality of Chinese medicine medical record writing,and enhance the quality of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment services by using the clinical decision support system for advantageous diseases in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:163 cases of mixed hemorrhoids using the clinical decision support system for Chinese medicine advantageous diseases were collected from March to May 2023,and 176 cases of mixed hemorrhoids not using the clinical decision support system for Chinese medicine advantageous diseases were collected from March to May 2022.Retrospective investigation was conducted to analyze the amount of prescription medicines used in the two groups,the accuracy of Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and classification,the medication records of Chinese medicine tablets,and the consistency of the rationale,methodology,prescription and medication in the writing of the medical records.Results:There were no significant differences in the number of prescription uses,the number of prescriptions per capita,the number of syndrome differentiation per capita,and the medical records of prescription drugs between the two groups(P>0.05).The proportion of consistency between the content of prescriptions and medical records in the smart medical syndrome differentiation and treatment group[95.45%(147/154)]was higher than that in the traditional medical syndrome differentiation and treatment group[90.36%(150/166)],however the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The proportion of consistent disease signs and disease syndrome types in the medical records of the smart medical syndrome differentiation and treatment group[96.75%(149/154)],the consistent proportion of syndrome types,treatment rules and prescriptions[86.14%(143/166)],and the proportion of syndrome differentiation pattern changes[56.49%(87/154)]were higher than those in the traditional medical syndrome differentiation and treatment group 86.14%(143/166),77.77%(129/166)and 7.22%(12/166).The differences were statistically significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of the clinical decision-making system for Chinese medicine advantageous diseases helps to standardize the Chinese medicine identification ideas,cultivate traditional Chinese medicine thinking patterns,enhance the logic of rationale and prescription of medical record writers,and is conducive to improving the quality of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment services.
