Study on the Short-term Effect of Zhuangyi Medicine Clinical Care Combined with Leech Therapy in the Active Stage of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Objective:To observe the short-term anti-inflammatory,analgesic,and symptomatic relief effects of Zhuang medicine clinical nursing integrated with leech therapy in patients experiencing the active phase of rheumatoid arthritis. Methods:A total of 120 patients with active rheumatoid arthritis were selected and divide into a control group and an observation group using the random number table method, with 60 patients in each group. The control group received diclofenac sodium double-release enteric-coated capsules, while the observation group received Zhuang medicine clinical nursing combined with leech therapy for a treatment duration of 14 days. The visual analog scale(VAS)scores for joint pain, joint swelling scores,DAS28 scores, and serological indicators(CRP,RF,ESR,PT,PLT)were observed before treatment,1 week after treatment, and 2 weeks after treatment in both groups. The clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results:After treatment, both groups showed significant improvements in joint pain(VAS),joint swelling count,DAS28 scores, and serological indicators(CRP,RF,ESR,PT,PLT)compared to before treatment(P<0.05).Additionally,the observation group demonstrated more significant improvements compared to the control group(P<0.05).The clinical total effective rate in the observation group was 93.33%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group of 53.33%(P<0.05).Conclusions:Zhuang medicine clinical nursing combined with leech therapy exhibits significant short-term anti-inflammatory,analgesic,and disease activity-reducing effects in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis.
