Analysis of the External Treatment of Epidemic Diseases in the Beiji Qianjin Yaofang
The Beiji Qianjin Yaofang contains many contents related to the external treatment of epidemics,which have had a profound impact on future generations.On the one hand,according to the content,the external treatment method of epidemic diseases is roughly divided into four categories:body surface therapy,orifice and medicine method,extracorporeal treatment,and acupuncture and moxibustion method,and then divided into subcategories under each category,with a total of twelve subcategories,and analysed horizontally for each subcategory.After a systematic study,it is found that the external treatment of epidemic diseases in the book is characterised by a variety of treatments,the combined use of multiple methods and the flexibility of simple and ingenious formulas.On the other hand,taking the completion of the book Beiji Qianjin Yaofang as the midpoint of the development of the external treatment of epidemic diseases,and briefly combing the development of the external treatment of epidemic diseases before and after the completion of the book,the author believes that the Beiji Qianjin Yaofang has contributed a lot to the development of the external treat-ment of epidemic diseases,and it has a role of carrying on the previous and starting the next,and it can be used as a reference for the prevention and treatment of the modern infectious diseases.
