Biogenetic Informatics Analysis of Forkhead Transcription Factor FoxO1
The forked transcription factor FoxO1 is an important regulatory factor that widely participates in va-rious life activities.Analyzing FoxO1 bioinformatics could provide a clearer and more intuitive understanding of the structure and function of the FoxO1 gene, providing an important theoretical basis for in-depth research on the mechanisms of later development, differentiation, metabolism, and evolution. We also used bioinformatics methods to carry on the forecast analysis of the structure and function of FoxO1 protein, such as physicochemical properties, hydrophobicity, phosphorylation sites, transmembrane domain, subcellular localization, signal peptide, disulfide bond, secondary structure and conserved domain. It turned out that,FoxO1 protein is the unstable acidic and the hydrophilic protein, having phosphorylation site, and no transmembrane regions;FoxO1 protein mainly located in nucleus, secondly in the cytoplasm, and having no signal peptide;it is non secretory protein, and there are seven cysteine residues, including six cysteine form three disulfide bond;In the secondary structure, the proportion of random curl is as high as 75.42%,alpha helix take second place at 17.30%,and Forkhead domain has 95 con-servative amino acid residues between amino acids 165-259.
