Effects of Different Silage Treatments on the Quality and Nutrient Components of Tartary Buckwheat
[Objective]To study the effects of different silage treatments on sensory properties and nutritional quality of buckwheat straw.[Method]Adding different proportions of com flour, rice bran, molasses and com straw into buckwheat straw mixed silage, and analyzing and evaluating from the aspects of sensory,pH,ammonia-cal nitrogen and nutrient component.[Result]Comparing with the control group, the silage quality was improved in different degrees in each treatment group, and the effect of 30%mixed com silage group was the best in terms of pH value and ammoniacal nitrogen content. The crude protein content(5.74%)in 4%rice bran group was signif-icantly higher than that in other groups(P<0.05).The crude fat content of 5%molasses group and 30%mixed corn silage group was significantly lower than that of the other three treatment groups(P<0.05).[Conclusion]The overall effect of silage quality under 5%molasses and 4%rice bran treatment is better, which is one of the feasible ways to treat buckwheat straw before feeding.
