Weining County is known as the"hometown of animal husbandry"in the south.As a key area for the development of Guizhou's beef cattle industry,Weining County follows the work philosophy of"laying a founda-tion in three years,creating a brand in five years,and grinding a sword in ten years"to solidly promote the devel-opment of the beef cattle industry,and has achieved significant results.However,there are still problems such as extensive breeding methods,insufficient integration of production and sales,insufficient interest linkage,and an imperfect breeding system for high-quality beef cattle.Based on practical experience,the author deeply analyzes the current development status and existing problems of the beef cattle industry in Weining County,and proposes relevant countermeasures,aiming to provide reference for the high-quality development of the beef cattle industry in Weining County in the next step.
