Study on the Freezing Effect of Different Antifreeze Agents on Bull Semen
The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of glycerol,dimethylacetamide(DMA),ethyl-ene glycol(EG),and dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)on the cryopreservation of bull[此摘要需要根据调整后的中文摘要再修改]semen.[Methods]An antifreeze efficacy test was conducted by adding varying concentrations of glycerol,DMA,EG,and DMSO to the base solution to create different dilution formulations.The four formulations with the best outcomes were then compared to identify the optimal diluent for freezing bull semen.[Results]Glyc-erol exhibited the greatest antifreeze effect.[Conclusion]The findings suggest that antifreeze agents have a positive protective effect on the cryopreservation of bull semen.Glycerol,DMA,and EG are all suitable for freezing bull se-men,enhancing the freezing effect and significantly improving the quality of frozen bull semen.
