Current Status of the Beef Cattle Industry in Ningxia and Suggestions for Alleviating Difficulties
The Chinese beef cattle industry has achieved significant development under the impetus of policy,market,and technology,but it also faces challenges such as small scale,low efficiency,and market price fluctua-tions.This paper analyzes the current state of development of the Chinese beef cattle industry,the difficulties it faces,and the development profile of the beef cattle industry in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,particularly in the Xihaigu area.Suggestions are proposed to address the current challenges in the development of the beef cattle industry,including protecting the cow herd,ensuring forage production,serving production and business entities,improving production levels,adhering to full industry chain management,and promoting the integration of industry,academia,research,and application.These measures aim to promote high-quality development in the beef cattle industry.
