Development Status and Suggestion of Milk Industry Development in Wuwei City
Dairy industry is an advantageous industry in Gansu province to build ecological industrial system and promote the rise of green development.Wuwei is located in the"golden milk source belt"and the oasis plain under the Qilian Mountains,which is a natural pasture for developing dairy industry.Wuwei City will promote the dairy industry as a key and high-level leading industry in the"8+N"modern agriculture advantage of cattle,sheep,pigs,poultry,fruits,vegetables,fungi,and grass,and make every effort to build Gansu milk capital and the billion Hexi corridor golden milk source base.The number of dairy cows in Wuwei City has increased from 28,000 in 2019 to 111,000 currently,forming a preliminary pattern of"1+6+N"dairy industry cluster development.This article provides an overview of the current situation,existing problems,and next steps of the dairy industry in Wuwei City,aiming to provide reference for further improving the development of the dairy industry.
