Investigation and Study on the Incidence of Parasitic Diseases of Cattle and Sheep in Linyou County
In recent years,the parasitic diseases of cattle and sheep have become the main factor threatening the healthy development of livestock industry.Infected cattle and sheep are characterized by the stunted growth and development,emaciation,decreased production capacity,and are easily infected with various infectious diseases.When the harm is severe,it can lead to the death of a large number of cattle and sheep.In order to master the par-asitic infection of cattle and sheep in our county,scientifically formulate disinfection and sterilization plans,and practically achieve"accurate application and good effect"to reduce the harm of parasitic diseases to the breeding industry.In 2021,technical personnel were organized to visit 10 large-scale sheep farms and 6 Qinchuan cattle farmers within the county,randomly sampling 6 Qinchuan cattle and 20 Boer goats as survey subjects for internal parasite examination.After inspection,15 goats were found to be infected with parasites,and 9 types of parasites were detected,with an infection rate of 75%.4 cattle in Qinchuan were infected with parasites,and 4 types of par-asites were detected,with an infection rate of 67%.
