Analysis and Test Verification of Launch and Opening Characteristics of First-stage Gas Gun
In order to study the launch and opening characteristics of the first-stage gas gun,consider-ing the connection state of the inner chamber,the description equation of the interior ballistics and opening characteristics based on the structural parameters was established.The self-excited opening characteristics of the first-stage gas gun were simulated and analyzed,and the transient characteristics of displacement time during the opening process of the high-pressure gas chamber,exhaust chamber,damping chamber,buffer chamber and rear chamber were obtained,as well as the launch acceleration law.The opening conditions of the self-excited opening valve were defined,and the launch platform of the first-stage gas gun with a calibre of 50 mm was constructed.The test results show that the maximum deviation is less than 3%compared with the simulation results,and the adaptability and accuracy of the description equation based on the structural parameters of the inner chamber is verified.This paper proposes a reliable mathematical description equation for the design of the structural parameters of the inner chamber of the gas gun based on the launch parameters.
