Air Combat Threat Assessment Based on the Coefficient of Variation Method and Improved TOPSIS Method
Target threat assessment technology is one of the key technologies of intelligent tactical as-sistance decision-making system.Current air combat target threat assessment has the problems of threat assessment indicators coupling, variability of different weight calculation methods, and confusion in programme differentiation in the traditional TOPSIS threat ranking method. An air combat threat assess-ment method based on the coefficient of variation method and the improvement of TOPSIS was de-signed.The correlation heat map analysis of each air combat threat evaluation index was carried out to select appropriate threat evaluation indices. The air combat threat assessment model combining subjec-tive and objective weights was established, and the coefficient of variation method was used to replace the entropy weight method in the selection of objective methods, which reduces the data requirements of the model. The Manhattan distance was used to replace the Euclidean distance in the traditional TOPSIS method to rank the threat coefficients, which reduced the ranking error rate by 6%.The re-sults of the simulation and analysis of a numerical example showed that the method took into account the subjective preference of the decision maker and ensures the objectivity of decision making, which effectively improved the accuracy of air combat threat assessment.
