A Method for Identifying Characteristic Signals at the Moment of Projectile Ejection from the Chamber
The accuracy of artillery projectiles in hitting targets is closely tied to the dynamics of their interior ballistics,so it is of great practical significance to obtain the interior ballistic motion parameters accurately. In order to obtain the motion parameters of the projectiles in the interior ballistic phase,a simulation experimental platform for collecting interior ballistic parameters was constructed. The method of projectile-borne collection and storage testing was employed to collect acceleration data, and wavelet transform decomposition was used for filtering the acceleration data. The filtering effects of various wavelet base functions were compared, and the interior ballistic parameters were calculated by analy-zing the characteristics of the acceleration signals. The results indicate that the projectile-borne storage electronic system can fully acquire acceleration data of the interior ballistic phase. The wavelet trans-form method provides effective denoising of the acceleration signals, and by identifying the characteris-tics of the acceleration signals, the ejection moment of the projectile in the interior ballistic phase and the time of motion inside the bore can be calculated.
