Exploration of the theory of the Xiahe acupuncture
The theory of Xiahe acupuncture is a classic theory on the treatment of intestinal diseases in the Neijing, and its emergence solves the dilemma of having no owner of intestinal diseases.Because there is no term"Xiahe acupuncture"in ancient medical texts, the main treatment provisions of uniting point and lower uniting point are blurred and difficult to distinguish, resulting in the embarrassing situation that although there are absolute differences in the concepts of the five infusion uniting point and the lower uniting point, the main treatment is similar.Based on ancient medical books and clinical experience, this paper deeply discusses the reasons for the emergence of the theory of the Xiahe acupuncture, the basis of its production, the characteristics of acupoint extraction and the differences between the five infusion points. It is proposed that the emergence of the theory of the lower combination of points is based on the root knot and specimen theory, which is supported by the theory of qi street:the tibia street communicates with the abdominal qi street through the rushing pulse,so that the lower qi disease can be realized, which provides a new idea for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The selection of the upper and lower giant voids and the three acupoints of Weiyang in the Xiahe acupuncture reflects the principle of TCM characteristic diagnosis and treatment of coordinating yin and yang, and taking upper and lower diseases.
