补肾类中药通过线粒体途径干预衰老的研究进展

线粒体在细胞内能量代谢和调节细胞生命活动中起着关键作用.随着生命体年龄的增长,线粒体功能逐渐衰退,导致细胞功能下降和衰老过程加速.线粒体功能的衰退是衰老过程中的重要因素,而补肾中药可以通过多种途径改善线粒体数量及功能来延缓衰老过程.首先,补肾中药可以调控线粒体抗氧化防御系统清除活性氧,增加线粒体的氧化还原能力,减轻线粒体氧化应激.第二,补肾中药可以调控线粒体自噬来清除受损线粒体,维持线粒体的正常状态.第三,补肾中药可以促进线粒体生物合成,提高线粒体的功能和稳定性.第四,补肾中药可以激活线粒体融合与分裂,帮助维持线粒体的数量平衡,保持细胞的正常功能.本文通过对上述几个机制进行综述,以期为衰老及相关疾病的治疗和预防描绘更清晰的理论基础.
Research progress on the intervention of aging through the mitochondrial pathway by kidney-tonifying traditional Chinese medicine
Mitochondriadis pivotal in cellular energy metabolism and the regulation of cellular functions.As individuals age,there is a gradual deterioration in mitochondrial function,resulting in diminished cellular activity and expedited aging processes.The decline in mitochondrial function constitutes a noteworthy contributor to the aging phenomenon,and the utilization of kidney-tonifying herbal medicines can effectively enhance both the quantity and functionality of mitochondria through diverse mechanisms,thereby retarding the aging process.Firstly,herbal medicines with kidney-tonifying properties have the ability to modulate the mitochondrial antioxidant defense system,thereby facilitating the removal of reactive oxygen species,enhancing the redox capacity of mitochondria,and mitigating mitochondrial oxidative stress.Secondly,these herbal medicines can regulate mitochondrial autophagy,leading to the elimination of impaired mitochondria and the preservation of mitochondrial homeostasis.Thirdly,it is worth noting that kidney-tonifying Chinese herbal medicine has the potential to stimulate mitochondrial biosynthesis,thereby augmenting mitochondrial function and stability.Lastly,it can induce mitochondrial fusion and fission,which play a crucial role in maintaining mitochondrial equilibrium and preserving optimal cellular function.The primary objective of this review is to elucidate the underlying mechanisms,thereby establishing a more comprehensive theoretical foundation for the management and prevention of age-related ailments.
