Exploring the characteristics of differentiation and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases in"prescriptions of peaceful benevolent dispensary"based on collateral disease theory
From the perspective of collateral disease theory,this paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant texts describing the prescriptions for spleen and stomach diseases in Volume 3 of"Prescriptions of Peaceful Benevolent Dispensary",aiming to mine the doctors'thoughts on differentiating and treating collateral diseases of spleen and stomach during this period.Based on the origin and development of collateral disease theory and the relevant discussions on spleen and stomach diseases in Volume 3 of"Prescriptions of Peaceful Benevolent Dispensary",this paper used symptoms such as stabbing pain,mass accumulation,paralysis,and bleeding as entry points to explore the core pathogenesis of"stagnation,accumulation,and damage"in spleen and stomach collateral diseases.In treatment,with"unblocking the collateral"as the core principle,medications are prescribed from four aspects:promoting qi flow and unblocking collaterals with pungent and fragrant herbs,activating blood circulation and dissipating blood stasis to unblock collaterals,resolving phlegm and dispersing nodules to unblock collaterals,and nourishing qi and nourishing the body to unblock collaterals,to assist conventional treatment methods for spleen and stomach diseases.This paper summarized the syndrome differentiation and medication rules of spleen and stomach diseases in"Prescriptions of Peaceful Benevolent Dispensary"based on collateral disease theory,aiming to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of clinical diagnosis and treatment of spleen and stomach diseases.
