Photocatalytic technology has a good application prospect in wastewater containing antibiotics treat-ment because of its high degradation rate,non-toxicity and low cost.2D TiO2/ZnO composite photocata-lysts were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The photocatalytic activity of the constructed catalyst was e-valuated by photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH).The effects of TiO2 loads,calci-nation temperature, calcination time and tetracycline hydrochloride dosage on the photocatalytic activity of 2D TiO2/ZnO were investigated. The experimental results showed that 2D TiO2/ZnO-50 exhibited improved catalytic activity compared with pure 2D TiO2 or 2D ZnO.When using 2D TiO2/ZnO-50 calcinated at 300℃for 2 h,the degradation rates of TCH of 5 mg/L and 20 mg/L under visible light were 93.0%and 82.2%,respectively.The reaction of photocatalytic degradation TCH(20 mg/L)by2D TiO2/ZnO-50(200 mg/L)can be expressed as pseudo-first-order kinetic model, with a rate constant of 0.009 09 min-1 and a half-life of 76.2 min.
