Effect of limb movement on negative emotions in dialysis patients based on knowledge-attitude-practice model
Objective To explore the effects of limb movement on anxiety and depression, mental resilience, and self-efficacy in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients based on the knowledge-attitude-practice model. Methods A total of 138 patients who received MHD and met the criteria of intake and drainage in Hengshui People's Hospital from May 2021 to July 2022 were selected, and they were randomly divided into control group(68 cases)and obser-vation group(70 cases)according to the sequence of patients first coming to the hospital for dialysis. The control group received routine exercise intervention in dialysis, and the observation group was treated with the exercise in-tervention based on the knowledge, belief and action mode on the basis of the control group. The intervention lasted for 24 weeks between both groups, and the changes of negative emotion, mental resilience, and self-efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results After intervention, the scores of anxiety and depression in the observation group were significantly different from those in the control group, and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(t=3.171,2.409;P<0.05),and the total scores of mental resilience and its dimensions were significantly different from those in the control group. The score was better than that of the control group(t=3.344,2.175,2.106,4.429;P<0.05),and the self-efficacy score(except general disease management)was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the differences were significant(t=3.002,2.462,P<0.05).Conclusion Exercise intervention based on the knowledge-attitude-practice mode can relieve anxiety and depression in MHD patients, improve their mental resilience, and enhance their sense of self-efficacy in disease treatment.
