Practice and effect evaluation of the dual management system of administrative management and supervising experts in nursing department
Objective To explore the application effect of the dual management mechanism of administrative man-agement and supervision experts in nursing management.Method At the beginning of 2019,the dual management mechanism of administrative management and supervision experts in nursing department was applied to nursing man-agement in our hospital.Nurse practice behavior,head nurse management work,nursing teaching and training,nursing research,and assist the nursing department participate the other work related to nursing work were super-vised by the control of nursing structure quality,process quality,and end quality.Department nurses before the es-tablishment of the Nursing Supervision Committee from January 2017 to May 2019 and department nurses after the establishment of the Nursing Supervision Committee from June 2019 to December 2021 were object.Nursing sensi-tive indicators,nursing quality management,satisfaction,and nurse professional behavior between before and after impcementation were compared,and the development achievements of the discipline were elaborated.Results There was no statistically significant difference(P＞0.05)in the incidence of pressure ulcers above stage 2,falls and inju-ries among hospitalized patients,unplanned extubation of tracheal catheters,unplanned extubation of catheters,and unplanned extubation of gastrointestinal tubes(via mouth and nose)between the two groups in terms of various indi-cators;The basic grading nursing quality,first aid drug(item)quality management,nursing technical operation,and nursing document quality in nursing management quality were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);The satisfaction rate between nurses and patients,as well as the incidence of bad behavior,were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P＜0.05);Our nursing discipline has achieved significant improvement in scientific research and academic achievements,as well as the level of professional development.Conclusion In the application process of nursing management practice,the dual management system of administrative management and supervision experts in nursing department is beneficial for improving nursing management efficiency,improving nursing quality,ensuring nursing safety,standardizing nursing practice behavior,enhancing the competence of head nurses,and promoting the comprehensive,coordina-ted,and sustainable development of nursing disciplines in hospitals.
