Summary of best evidence for respiratory management in patients with spinal cord injury
Objective To summarize the best evidence of respiratory management in patients with spinal cord inju-ry(SCI),and provide reference for clinical practice.Method PubMed,EMbase,CLINIC AL,BMJ,CNKI,Wan Fang,CBMdisc,etc were systematically searched,and the quality of the included studies was evaluated to extract the evi-dence content.The search deadline was from database establishment to January 31,2023.Results A total of 15 liter-atures were included,including 3 clinical decision-making articles,3 guidelines,4 expert consensus articles,and 5 systematic evaluations.A total of 29 best pieces of evidence were summarized in 6 aspects of respiratory function as-sessment,preventive measures,respiratory training,suitable population and environment,training intensity and timing,and health education for SCI patients.Conclusion This paper summarizes the best evidence for respiratory management in patients with SCI,providing evidence-based support for nursing work.It is suggested to develop per-sonalized respiratory management plans based on patient needs and clinical conditions when applying evidence.
