Practice and effectiveness of the training project for community nursing specialist nurse
Objective To explore the implementation effect of training for community nursing specialist nurse in Suzhou city.Method A total of 25 community nurses in Suzhou city were trained,including 2 weeks of theoretical training,4 weeks of clinical internships in Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals,and 6 weeks of practical experience in com-munity health service centers.The trained nurses were assessed for their theoretical and practical abilities,and their core community nursing abilities were compared before and after the training.Results The average score of theoreti-cal assessment for nurses after training reached an excellent level(all＞90 points),and the average scores of clinical work ability assessment and case nursing defense reached a good level(all＞80 points).The scores of all dimensions of community nursing core ability(except for ethical practice ability)and total average scores of nurses after training were higher than those before training,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The training of community nursing specialists nurse in Suzhou city combines theory and practice well,which can effec-tively enhance the theoretical knowledge,operational skills,and core competencies of nurses in community nursing.
