Latent profile analysis of exercise behavior perception in stroke patients and its relationship with self-efficacy
Objective To explore the potential categories of exercise behavior perception in stroke patients and its relationship with self-efficacy.Method A total of 463 hospitalized stroke patients from 3 Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals in Anyang city from February to July 2022 were selected as the survey subjects, and were surveyed by the General Information Questionnaire,Exercise Benefits and Obstacles Scale, and Stroke Rehabilitation Self-Efficacy Scale.A potential profile analysis of exercise behavior perception was conducted. Results The perceived exercise behavior of stroke patients could be divided into 3 categories:low-benefit-high-obstacle type(17.3%),moderate-perceived-bal-ance type(70.8%),and high-benefit-family type(11.9%).The potential categories of perceived exercise behavior were the influencing factors of rehabilitation self-efficacy.The total scores and dimension scores of moderate-per-ceived-balanced and high benefit-family-rehabilitation self-efficacy were higher than those of low-benefit-high-obsta-cle type(P<0.001).Conclusion There are heterogeneity and potential category characteristics in the perception of exercise behavior among stroke patients.Clinical medical staff should pay attention to the perceived level of exercise behavior among patients, develop personalized exercise prescriptions or plans based on different perception catego-ries,enhance the self-efficacy of stroke patients, and thus establish and consolidate healthy behaviors.
