Research status and progress of fundamentals of care framework
The fundamentals of care framework was a more comprehensive and systematic concentric circle of 3 levels,which contained 38 elements from 3 dimensions of nurse-patient relationship,integration of care,and context of care.It was the best representative of the comprehensive interpretation of the core elements of the fundamental care based on the evidence and had been widely used abroad,which had reference significance for the development of the fundamental care in China.However,how to effectively implement the fundamentals of care framework in clini-cal practice and nursing education and evaluate the quality of fundamental care needs further research.This paper aimed to review the global research status and progress of the fundamentals of care framework in recent years,and to provide the theoretical basis for the development of high quality fundamental care and promote the considerable de-velopment of the nursing discipline by exploring.
