Relationship between nurses'organization support,thriving at work,and voice behavior
Objective To explore the influence of nurses'organizational support and thriving at work on voice be-havior.Methods From November to December 2022,a total of 488 nurses in a grade-A tertiary hospitals in Nantong city were investigated with the general information questionnaire,Organizational Support Scale(OSS),Thriving at Work Questionnaire(TWQ),and Voice Behavior Scale(VBS).Results The total score of OSS was(3.45±0.39)points.The total score of TWQ was(4.64±0.33)points,while the VBS was(3.86±0.39)points.There were significant positive correlation between nurses'OSS,TWQ,and VBS(P<0.05).The results of multiple linear re-gression analysis showed that activation,study,and instrumental support were the main factors affecting voice be-havior(P<0.01).Structural equation model analysis showed that the organizational support on voice behavior par-tially mediated the effect of thriving at work,the total effect of organizational support on voice behavior was 0.4,the mediating effect was 0.237,and explained 44.1%of the total effect.Conclusions Thriving at work is a mediating variable between nurses'organizational support and voice behavior,nursing managers should provide supportive at-mosphere,take effective measures to improve nurses'thriving level at work and professional growth.
