Objective To investigate the status quo of clinical nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice on medication management of patients with dysphagia, and explore its influencing factors. Methods A total of 1,194 nurses from 15 tertiary general hospitals in Jiangsu province from May to July 2022 was investigated by using the questionnaire on nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice about medication management of patients with dysphagia. Results The total score of clinical nurses'knowledge-attitude-practice about medication management for dysphagia was(167.39±19.07)points,and the scores of knowledge, attitude, and behavior dimensions were(48.87±6.49)points,(43.38±5.94)points,and(75.14±12.76)points,respectively.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that hos-pital level, education background, whether they had participated in relevant training or not,and whether they had obtained knowledge from academic journals(all P<0.01)were the main influencing factors of clinical nurses'knowl-edge,attitude,and practice about medication management for dysphagia. Conclusion Nurses have a general knowl-edge of medication management for dysphagia, and have a high recognition of standardized medication, and their practical behavior needs to be strengthened.Nursing managers should pay full attention to the training needs of clini-cal nurses, carry out systematic training on medication management knowledge and practical skills for dysphagia, and improve the quality of medication management for patients with dysphagia.
