Effect of different time massage of Baliao combined with segmented pelvic floor exercise on the bladder function of patients undergoing hysterectomy
Objective To observe the effect of different time massage of Baliao combined with segmented pelvic floor exercise on the bladder function of patients undergoing hysterectomy. Methods A total of 80 patients undergoing hysterectomy in the gynecological department of a tertiary hospital in Jiangxi from January to December 2022 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was subjected to routine nursing care, and the observation group was supplemented with different time massage of Baliao combined with segmented pelvic floor exercise on the basis of the control group. The incidence of postoperative urinary retention, the spontaneous urination time after extubation, and the volume of first urination were observed and recorded between 2 groups. The Mesure Du Handicap Urinaire Scale(MHU)was used to investigate and compare the changes of bladder function between 2 groups on the day of extuba-tion,the 7th day after intervention, and the 14th day after intervention. Results The incidence of postoperative urinary retention(2.5%)of the patients in the observation group was lower than that(20%)in the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time for spontaneous urination of the patients in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.001),and the first urination was more than that in the control group(P<0.001).On the day of extubation, the 7th day after intervention, and the 14th day after intervention, the scores of urinary urgency,urgen-cy-related symptoms, frequent micturition, stress urinary incontinence, dysuria, and the total scores of MHU of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Different time massage of Baliao combined with segmented pelvic floor exercise can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary retention in patients undergoing hysterectomy and promote the recovery of patients'bladder function.
