Current situation and influencing factors of work-family behavioral role conflict in nurses
Objective To investigate the current situation of work-family behavioral role conflict(WFBRC)in nur-ses and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide reference for formulating relevant intervention plan.Methods A total of 994 clinical nurses from a tertiary hospital in Shanghai from November to December 2022 were selected as the research objects by convenience sampling method,and investigated by using a general information questionnaire,WFBRC Scale(WFBRCS),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),and Psychological Capital Questionnaire(PCQ).Results A total of 1,115 questionnaires were collected,and 994 valid questionnaires were collected,with an effective recovery rate of 89.15%.The WFBRCS score of nurses was(75.70±17.62)points,the score of work interfere family(WIF)dimension was(47.73±11.61)points,and the score of family interfere work(FIW)dimension was(27.97±8.89)points,and the WIF dimension score was significantly higher than the FIW dimension score(P<0.001).Multivariate stepwise linear regression analysis showed that marital status,competency level,working de-partments,perceived social support,and psychological capital were the main influencing factors of nurses'WFBRC(P<0.05).Conclusions Nurses have moderate to low level of WFBRC and work has more impact on their family.Nursing managers should pay attention to the working status of nurses and take measures to reduce their WFBRC level to promote the harmonious development of their work and family.
