Objective To investigate the status of frailty of the elderly in community, and explore the correlation of psychological resilience and family resilience with the frailty of the elderly in the community. Methods From Sep-tember 2020 to March 2021,the elderly in the communities from Shanghai,Yunnan,Guizhou,Sichuan,Chongqing,Anhui, and Jiangxi were selected by the method of convenient sampling and conducted a questionnaire survey by the Comprehensive Frailty Assessment Instrument(The CFAI),Conner-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),and the Walsh Family Resilience Questionnaire(Walsh-FRQ).Results The total average score of 352 community elderly was(46.43±9.13)points,with mild frailty accounting for 26.7%,moderate frailty accounting for 43.8%,and se-vere frailty accounting for 29.5%.The scores of psychological resilience(r=-0.235)and family resilience(r=-0.058)were significantly negatively correlated with the frailty(P<0.01).Ordered logistic regression analysis showed that ability of daily living(ADL),family resilience, education level, and family per capita monthly income were the influencing factors of the frailty of the elderly in community(P<0.05),and family resilience was a protec-tive factor for frailty among community elderly(OR=0.518).Conclusion The social frailty of the elderly in the community is prominent, and there is a significant negative correlation between psychological resilience and family resilience with the frailty of the elderly in community. In the future, from the perspective of increasing family resili-ence,we can strengthen the development and mining of the strength of the elderly themselves and their families, and construct the frailty intervention program for the elderly in community,so as to promote active and healthy aging of the elderly in community.
