Summary of the best evidence for preoperative prerehabilitation in elderly patients with early lung cancer
Objective To systemiatically retrieve,extract,and evaluate the relevant evidence of preoperative pre-rehabilitation in the elderly patients with early lung cancer surgery.Methods The relevant literature on preoperative prehabilitation of elderly patients with early lung cancer in various databases and guideline networks at home and a-broad was systematically searched from the establishment of the database to April 30,2023.The literature types in-cluded guidelines,expert consensuses,evidence summaries,and systematic reviews.The quality of included litera-tures was evaluated,and the best evidence summary was formed by integrating the evidenced.Results After screening the systematically retrieved literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,16 relevant literatures were fi-nally included,including 6 guidelines,5 expert consensuses,2 evidence summaries,and 3 systematic reviews.A to-tal of 33 items of evidence were summarized from 6 various parts of prehabilitation information consultation,sports prehabilitation,nutrition prehabilitation,psychological prehabilitation,and prehabilitation supervision and evalua-tion.Conclusion The evidence provided by this research is scientific,comprehensive,and clinically applicable,which can give an evidence-based basis for medical personnel to perform preoperative prehabilitation of older patients with early lung cancer.
