Study on status and influencing factors of self-care ability for primary prevention of pelvic floor dysfunction in perinatal women
Objective To investigate the status quo of self-care ability for primary prevention of pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD)in perinatal women and explore its influencing factors.Methods A total of 320 pregnant women recruited in obstet-rics department and perinatal centers of our hospital from January to March 2023 were selected.The general information questionnaire and PFD Primary Prevention Self-Care Ability Scale for Women were used to conduct the questionnaire sur-vey.Result The score of PFD Primary Prevention Self-Care Ability Scale for perinatal women was(106.959±22.546)points,which was at a lower middle level.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that residence,education level,and number of births were the influencing factors of self-care ability for PFD primary prevention in perinatal women(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-care ability of PFD primary prevention in perinatal women is at a medium-low level.During perinatal re-habilitation education,cognitive assessment should be carried out especially for women with low education level,nonparous,and those living in rural areas,and personalized health education programs should be formulated to improve the cognition and self-care ability of PFD in perinatal women,reduce the PDF symptoms of perinatal women,reduce the incidence of PDF,and promote their quality of life.
