Application of continuous nursing intervention based on follow-up system in alcohol-dependent patients
Objective To investigate the effect of continuous nursing intervention based on follow-up system in al-cohol-dependent patients. Methods A total of 120 alcohol-dependent patients who were hospitalized in addiction med-icine department of our hospital from March 2021 to August 2022 were selected by convenient sampling method and divided into the experimental group and the control group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group.Patients of the control group received conventional drug treatment after discharge, while patients of the ex-perimental group received 6-month continuous nursing intervention based on follow-up system on the basis of the control group. The degree of alcohol craving and quality of life before and after intervention, and the state of alcohol dependence and relapse rate at the 1st,3rd,and 6th month after intervention were compared between 2 groups.Re-sults There was no significant difference in the degree of alcohol craving and quality of life between 2 groups before intervention(P>0.05),After intervention, the degree of alcohol craving and quality of life in the experimental group were significantly better those in the control group(P<0.05).The state of alcohol dependence and relapse rate in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group at the 1st,3rd,and 6th month after inter-vention(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous nursing intervention based on follow-up system can reduce the craving and dependence on alcohol in alcohol-dependent patients, lower their relapse rate, improve patients'quality of life, and provide a new nursing concept and intervention method for extramural rehabilitation management of alcohol-de-pendent patients.
