Application of maker education in teaching of hematogenic occupational exposure for undergraduate nursing students in the operating room
Objective To explore the application effect of maker education in teaching of hematogenic occupational exposure for undergraduate nursing students in the operating room. Methods A total of 81 undergraduate nursing students were randomly divided into the control group(40)and the observation group(41)in July-August 2023.The control group received routine teaching in operating room, while the observation group adopted maker teaching.Compare the scores of the two groups of nursing students on the theory and operation assessment, creative thinking test scores before and after internship, satisfaction with teaching methods, the incidence of blood-borne occupational exposure and the correct rate of post-treatment of blood-borne occupational exposure during the internship in the op-erating room. Results The test scores of operation assessment and post-practice creative thinking test scores in the ex-perimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the nursing students in the experimental group were more satisfied with the teaching methods(P<0.05).Conclusion Maker education can ef-fectively improve nursing students mastery of blood-borne occupational exposure knowledge, promote the generation of in-novative ideas, improve nursing students'satisfaction with teaching, and reduce the occurrence of blood-borne occupational exposure.
