Construction and practice of hospice course for medical students in the whole life cycle
Objective To construct a scientifically comprehensive palliative care curriculum for medical students based on the concept of full life cycle care,and to explore its application effects.Methods From March 2022 to June 2023,a curriculum based on palliative care theory knowledge and clinical practice caseswas designed,and the teach-ing effects were dynamically evaluated throughmultiple methods combined with questionnaire surveys.Results The curriculum established a dual-teacher team,constructing 36 hours of content covering physical,psychological,so-cial,and spiritual aspects of holistic care,and a flexible"online+offline"hybrid teaching model was adopted,fully integrating the concepts of"benevolence"and humanistic care,and adopting the combination of timely feedback and delayed feedback to dynamic evaluatethe learning effects.The average score of students in the course was 96.8(90.0,98.8)points,with a pass rate of 98.10%.Conclusion The development of teaching content,curriculum de-sign,and evaluation system in this course are reasonable and replicable,and can be disseminated to other regions for reference and promotion.The teaching content of this course is universal and inspirational,providingstrongsupport for the development of palliative care education and practice.
