Perioperative anesthetic nursing for a central core disease patient with malignant hyperthemia susceptibility
Care management experience ofthe perioperative anesthetic in a patient with central core disease(CCD)combined malignant hyperthermia(MHS)undergoing scoliosis orthopedic surgery was summarized.The points of nursing management wereas followed:Through multi-disciplinary discussions before surgery,the anesthet-ic nurses worked with the anesthesiologists to formulate a plan to prevent and treat malignant hyperthermia(MH)during the perioperative period,learned the clinical manifestations and treatment principles of malignant hyperther-mia,established a detailed list of item preparation and personnel division of labor,and improved preoperative prepa-rations.The anesthetic nurses collaborated with the anesthesiologists,surgeons,and operating room nurses before,during,and after anesthesia ensured that the patient's surgery was smooth,without MH during and after surgery.The patient was followed up for half a year after surgery,and the condition was stable without serious postoperative complications.
