Large language model,also known asartificial intelligence Chatbots,is trained on a large amount of text through self-supervised learning,and draws knowledge from huge amount of data to output realistic and more accurate text.It has a strong potentialin the field ofnursing practice and education,but still faces many technical,ethical,and safety challenges.This paper took ChatGPT as an example to introduce the current research status of large language model in the nursing field,the development outlook,and the risks and challenges that may be encoun-tered in the process of using it,in order to provide areference and basis for nursing staff in China to master the ad-vanced tools and technologies such as artificial intelligence.
