Evaluation of application effect of new type endotracheal-tube device
Objective To explore the clinical application effect ofnew endotracheal-tube device in neurosurgery pa-tients with endotracheal intubation.Methods A total of 120 patients with endotracheal intubationin the department of neurosurgery of our hospital from April 2021 to March 2023 were selected,and were divided into the conventional fixation device group(60 patients from April 2021 to March 2022)and the new fixation device group(60 patients A-pril 2022 to March 2023)according to the time of admission.The fixed effect of tracheal intubation,daily fixed num-ber of endotracheal intubation,replacing endotracheal intubation time consuming,and the incidence of mouth mucous membrane pressure injury between 2 groups were compared.Results Compared with conventional fixtures group differences,the tracheal intubation fixed effect,daily fixed number of endotracheal intubation,replacing endotra-cheal intubation time consuming,and the incidence of mouth mucous membrane pressure injury(without damage,redness,swelling,and ulceration of the oral mucosa)in the new fixation device group were statistically significant(P＜0.05),but there were no significant differences in the incidence of oral mucosal bleeding and ulcer between 2 groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion New endotracheal-tube device improves the fixation effect of tracheal intubation in pa-tients with orotracheal intubation in department of neurosurgery,reduces the daily fixed number of intubation and the time of replacing endotracheal intubation,decreases the workload of nurses,lowers the incidence of oral mucosa redness,swelling,andulceration,whichis worth of clinical application.
