Research progress on the correlation between dietary inflammation index and gestational diabetes mellitus
The incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)is on the rise in China.GDM has adverse effects on maternal and infant health,and its pathogenesis is still unclear.In recent years,dietary inflammatory in-dex(DⅡ)has been linked to the development of several chronic diseases,such as type 2 diabetes.GDM is consid-ered to be the very early stage of diabetes,so its correlation with DⅡ has gradually attracted the attention of some re-searchers.In this article,the sources of DⅡ,its relationship with GDM,and the possible mechanism of GDM caused by DⅡ were reviewed,in order to explore a new preventive on the occurrence of GDM from the perspective of dietary inflammation,and provide new ideas for the dietary guidance of GDM high-risk women.
