Objective To explore the role expectations of medical personnel in Ngari Prefecture of Tibet for mili-tary aid personnel.Methods Adopted by the purpose sampling method,in June 2023,a total of 16 medical staff in the People's Hospital of Ali Geji county of Tibet were interviewed by using the semi-structured interview method.The 7-step Colaizzi analysis method was used to sort out and analyze the interview results,and form the theme.Re-sults After analysis,the main extracted 4 themes,namely,technical helper,management helper,conduct leader,and long-term guider.Conclusion Military hospitals should select medical personnel with excellent physical and men-tal quality,outstanding professional skills,excellent communication and coordination ability,and strong sense of re-sponsibility and mission to carry out medical assistance in Ngari Prefecture of Tibet in order to better achieve the goal of assisting Tibet.
