Application of palliative care based on multidisciplinary collaboration in patients with heart failure
Objective To explore the application effect of palliative care based on multidisciplinary collaboration in patients with heart failure(HF).Methods A total of 156 HF patients admitted to the cardiovascular department of our hospital from November 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects by convenience sampling method, and were divided into the control group(n=78)and the observation group(n=78)by random number table method. In the middle of the study,1 case in the control group could not be contacted,2 cases in the observation group re-fused to follow-up and 2 cases could not be contacted, and the final effective sample size was 151 cases, including 77 cases in the control group and 74 cases in the observation group. The control group was treated with usual standard care, while the observation group was given palliative care intervention on the basis of the control group. Before and after 3 months of intervention, quality of life, levels of anxiety and depression were compared between 2 groups, and the readmission situation of 2 groups were observed and compared after 3 months of intervention. Results There was no significant difference in quality of life and anxiety and the level of anxiety and depression between 2 groups before intervention(all P<0.05);After 3 months of intervention, the quality of life and the level of anxiety and depression in the observation group were better than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The readmission rate of the ob-servation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The palliative care based on multi-disciplinary collaboration can effectively improve quality of life and emotional state of HA patients, with reduce read-mission rates of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
