Nursing care of a patient with depression and acute retinal necrosis syndrome
Nursing experience of a patient with depression and acute retinal necrosis syndrome(ARNS)were summarized in this thesis.The key points of nursing care were rapid assessment,implementing personalized psycho-logical care around"patient-family-nurse",multiple ways of medication nursing,personalized pain relief and sleep management,safe nursing,and discharge guidance.After the active treatment,the patient's left eye vision was im-proved,and the best corrected vision at discharge was HM/50 cm,and his emotion was stable,and the medication continued via following the doctor's advice after his discharging.In conclusion,paying attention to the nursing of pa-tients with depression and ARNS and developing personalized treatment and nursing plans for medication,psychol-ogy,safety,and other aspects could effectively control the recurrence of patients with depression,improve their vis-ual prognosis,reduce blindness rates,and improve their quality of life.
