Objective To investigate the application effect of escape room teaching method in the clinical ability training of low-level nurses in vascular surgery.Methods A total of 88 junior nurses from the department of vascular surgery in our hospital were selected as the research objects by using a non-parallel controlled study design,and 44 junior nurses from September 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the control group,while 44 junior nurses from September 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the observation group.The control group adopted the traditional training method,and the observation group carried out the escape room teaching method on the basis of the control group.The clinical ability,critical thinking ability,and teamwork ability,etc were compared between 2 groups.Re-sults After the intervention,there were statistically significant differences in clinical ability,critical thinking ability,teamwork ability,and workplace adaptability between the observation group and the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion The escape room teaching method can effectively cultivate the critical thinking ability and teamwork ability of junior nurses in vascular surgery department,improve their clinical ability,and help junior nurses to obtain better workplace adaptability.
