Objective To establish the post competency model of visiting nurses in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing outpatient clinic.Methods Based on the"competency iceberg theory model"as the theoretical frame-work,indicators were screened and their weights were determined by literature review,qualitative research,Delphi expert letter consultation,and analytic hierarchy process,and the post competency model of visiting nurses in TCM nursing outpatient clinic was constructed from February to June 2023.Results In 2 rounds of correspondence,the rates of questionnaire recovery were 100％and 92.31％,the authority coefficients of experts were 0.898 and 0.902,and the coordination coefficients were 0.323 and 0.357,respectively.The Chi-square test showed P values was＜0.001,with a statistically significant difference.The final competency model of outpatient visiting nurses of TCM nursing included 6 first-level indicators,15 second-level indicators,and 50 third-level indicators.Conclusion The es-tablished post competency model of visiting nurses in TCM nursing outpatient department has high reliability and provides quantifiable basis for standardized training of visiting nurses in TCM nursing outpatient department.
