Construction of exercise management scheme for patients with colorectal cancer comorbid diabetes during chemotherapy based on cross-theoretical model
Objective To establish a exercise management plan among patients with colorectal cancer comorbid di-abetes mellitus undergoing chemotherapy base on transtheoretical model.Methods Between December 2022 and Au-gust 2023,the initial draft of the management plan was developed by a combination of mixed methods research and literature research,and an expert meeting was convened to evaluate the preliminary version of the plan,followed by subsequent revisions to ascertain the ultimate version,and a usability evaluation was also carried out.Results The re-sults of mixed methods research showed that the exercise level of patients with colorectal cancer comorbid diabetes mellitus undergoing chemotherapy was low,and the promoting and hindering factors of exercise were analyzed.The literature research finally included 12 articles,including 9 guidelines and 3 expert consensus;An exercise manage-ment plan for patients with colorectal cancer comorbid diabetes mellitus undergoing chemotherapy was formed,which took the chemotherapy course as the"inner cycle"axis,and included 5 dimensions:stages,goals,strategies,specific measures,and behavior change techniques,and has strong clinical usability.Conclusions Based on transtheo-retical model,this study integrated used mixed methods research,literature research,and expert meeting to formu-late exercise management program for patients with colorectal cancer comorbid diabetes mellitus undergoing chemo-therapy,which is necessary,reliable,scientific,and feasible,and can be preliminarily applied to clinical manage-ment.
