Research on the application of trinity continuity management scheme based on co-parenting theory in mothers with chapped nipples
Objective To explore the application effect of trinity continuous nursing scheme based on co-parenting theory in women with chapped nipples.Methods The pregnant women with chapped nipple who gave birth in a grade-A hospital in Shanxi province from July to October 2023 was selected as the study objects by a convenient sam-pling method.Those hospitalized from July to August 2023 were selected as the control group,and those hospitalized from September to October 2023 were selected as the observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received trinity continuity nursing based on co-parenting theory.(1)The breast-feeding self-efficacy,breast-feeding attitude,and paternal self-efficacy of support breast-feed-ing between 2 groups were observed and compared at 1,2,and 4 weeks after the occurrence of chapped nipple.(2)At 4 weeks after the occurrence of chapped nipple,the differences in the rate and duration of exclusive breastfeeding between 2 groups were compared.Results(1)At 1,2,and 4 weeks after the occurrence of chapped nipple,breast-feeding self-efficacy,breast-feeding attitude,and paternal self-efficacy of support breast-feeding in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).(2)At 4 weeks after the occurrence of chapped nipple,the rate and duration of exclusive breastfeeding in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of the trinity continuity nursing program based on the co-parenting theo-ry can improve the self-efficacy of fathers in supporting breastfeeding,the self-confidence of mothers in breastfeed-ing,the attitude towards breastfeeding,and increase the rate of exclusive breastfeeding,and lengthen the duration of exclusive breastfeeding in the mothers with chapped nipples.
